Dust It Off
Trick or Treat....
This embossing folder has been in my stash for more than 10 years I'm sure.
I am really happy with the way this turned out. I love making Halloween cards though I don't really give them out. I do all my own treat bags to give out every year. (Stay tuned for that post.)
Being that this is a Dust It Off challenge I will list the items I dusted off (literally).
Sizzix Tim Holtz embossing folder
Spider die from Papertrey Ink.
StazOn ink pads - black and brown
Spider die from Papertrey Ink.
StazOn ink pads - black and brown
All three are products, I have had for a decade at least. My StazOn Timber Brown ink pad was not even dried out. The Jet Black one did need re-inking.
The card stock is gold foil cardstock from Michaels. An inexpensive package with assorted colors. The gold is quite a yellow brassy gold and not very nice but it is foiled on a kraft base so distressing it is easy and is not a stark white underneath.
I used a cheap sanding block from the dollar store and blended the StazOn with blending brushes. I grabbed a bit from my bag of spider web stuff from the dollar store and a bit of white glue to get it stuck down a bit in a few spots
I adhered black fun foam to some black cardstock and then die cut them and used the clear Wink of Stella pen for a bit of sparkle.
